Given the situation following the revoking of the state of emergency in the Czech Republic, which changes from day to day, poor arrangement of opening borders (when and for which states and under what security regulations will it be allowed to enter the Czech Republic), the ever-changing hygiene regulations (accommodation, catering, teaching, transport, excursions, etc.) and with respect to the regulations of the rector of Masaryk University, we have no choice but to CANCEL the 53rd edition of the Summer School of Slavonic (Czech) Studies 2020 and begin preparations for the 54th edition, which will take place in 2021 and, we hope, be more favourable for the teaching of the Czech language for foreigners...
